Community Service
We share Jesus’ hope to others locally and around the world through service and partnering with organizations to help people.
Community Service and Partnerships
Holiday Giving
Holidays are a great time to come together as a community and look out for one another. We enjoy sharing God’s blessings with those in need through our Thanksgiving Baskets Ministry and Christmas “Giving Tree.”
Contact us during November or December if you would like to contribute to help others during the holidays.
Feeding the Homeless
Volunteers from Port Orchard Seventh-day Adventist church work together or partner with other organizations to help provide food for those experiencing homelessness in our community.
The first Saturday of each month at around 12:45 pm, a “potluck” lunch is provided for anyone from the community who attends the morning service.
South Kitsap Helpline
For more than three decades, South Kitsap Helpline’s mission has been to empower people and eliminate hunger. That mission is being fulfilled everyday. The Port Orchard Seventh-day Adventist Church partners with South Kitsap Helpline and contributes every year to help place food onto tables and hope into homes.

Global Partnerships
Worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Movement
The Port Orchard Seventh-day Adventist Church is one of more than 80,000 Seventh-day Churches in 215 countries around the world. Much prayer, as well as a percentage of all tithe donations received through the local Port Orchard church goes to share hope and benefit others all over the world.
This helps fund thousands of missionaries, pastors, teachers, health professionals, and other workers in nearly 8,000 schools, 175 hospitals, 29 orphanages, and 150,000 Adventist churches and groups around the world.
Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA)
As part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church, we partner with the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA).
ADRA is changing the lives of millions of people around the world. Their on-the-ground approach has grown to include local offices in more than 130 countries. When disaster strikes, ADRA is already there to help those in need. Once the urgent need has passed, ADRA stays there to provide ongoing support, ensure rehabilitation and continue long-term development work for sustainable change.
