Sunset Lake Camp

Adventure, Faith, and Community

Sunset Lake Camp is a residential summer camp and retreat center located on 400 acres in the beautiful foothills of Mount Rainier. Since 1957, the camp has invited children, teens, families, and groups to experience God’s grace through welcoming community and outdoor adventure.

Summer programs include age-based overnight camps for children and teens, as well as a day camp option for younger campers. Each experience is designed to help campers build friendships, grow in confidence, develop leadership skills, and deepen their faith.

Activities and Experiences

Campers can enjoy horseback riding, swimming, boating, zip-lining, rock climbing, BMX biking, archery-style marksmanship activities, sports, arts, games, and nature exploration. Programs are led by trained staff and instructors who focus on safety, encouragement, and a positive camp experience.

Camp Options and Financial Assistance

Sunset Lake offers overnight camps, day camp, specialty experiences, and Abba’s Child Grief Camp. Need-based assistance may be available through the Worthy Camper Fund. Camp dates, age groups, prices, and availability change each season, so families should visit the official website for current details.
